About Walter P
A skilled and ambitious candidate is being sought by Walter P Moore, a leading consulting company based in the United States, to become an Engineering Intern in their Pune, India office for their Diagnostics Group. As an Intern, you will collaborate with a group of seasoned engineers and technicians, delivering engineering services for a variety of diagnostics-related initiatives, such as forensics, strengthening, restoration, renovation, and rehabilitation of a range of structures.
Position Requirements:
‣To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:
‣A deep understanding of structural analysis concepts, particularly in buildings and bridges.
‣Familiarity with structural analysis software such as SAP 2000, ETABS, and STAAD.
‣Proficiency in search Microsoft Office.
‣Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
‣Familiarity with Non-Destructive tests is a plus.
‣Computer programming skills are advantageous.
‣Knowledge of Revit Structure is a plus.
Qualifications:
‣To be eligible for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
‣Final year students (or higher) pursuing ME/M Tech/MS in Structural Engineering.
‣0-1 year of experience (experience in US projects is a plus).
‣Demonstrated interest in forensic engineering, strengthening, restoration, and rehabilitation.
‣Knowledge of American codes, standards, and procedures is advantageous.
