In "Chupa," directed by Jonás Cuarón, the eponymous(Self  tittle, Nominative) creature is a lovely, doggy-cat with wings, a far cry from the traditional depiction of el chupacabra, the goat-killer and sharp-fanged mythical creature from Mexico. The movie follows Alex, a loner kid from Kansas town despatched to Mexico to hang around with his former luchador grandfather and cousins, who discovers the creature and bureaucracy a bond with him. The story is predictable and lacks emotional intensity, with an over-reliance on acquainted tropes from family movies. but, the cinematography by means of Nico Aguilar and the performance via Demián Bechir raise the movie, although it falls brief of its potential

4. Evil Dead Rise

In the fifth installment of the Evil Dead franchise, Beth, a road-weary traveler, pays a long-overdue visit to her sister Ellie in Los Angeles. Ellie, a single mother raising three children in a small apartment, is excited to see her sister but their reunion is quickly interrupted by the discovery of a mysterious book in the building's basement. As they delve deeper into the book, they unknowingly unleash flesh-possessing demons that turn their world into a nightmare. Beth is forced to fight for survival in a primal battle against the demonic forces, as she faces the terrifying reality of motherhood gone wrong. The film combines supernatural horror-mystery with psychological thriller elements, but some reviewers note that the movie's concept is not entirely fresh, 

borrowing from other popular horror hits like "The Ring" and "It Follows." Despite this, "Smile" showcases director Parker Finn's talent for horror, delivering jump scares and a sense of unease to viewers.

The film follows Mills and the only other survivor of the crash, Koa, as they navigate this dangerous, prehistoric landscape in a fight for their lives. The terrain is unknown and full of deadly creatures, posing a constant threat to the two stranded humans.

With only one chance at rescue, Mills and Koa must use all their skills and ingenuity to survive and find a way to be rescued. The stakes couldn't be higher as they face not only the dangers of the environment, but also the ticking clock of impending doom

Christopher Landon, noted for his work on "Happy Death Day," is the film's director. Marty Bowen, Dan Halsted, and Nathan Miller are the film's producers. Netflix is slated to release the movie, which was written by Christopher Landon.
