The God of hockey known as " Dhyan chand " In the hockey history were never gameplayed like dhyan. They maked fan like adolf & legend cricketer Don bradman by their magical skill of hockey. The hockey ball not away from dhyan hockey stick. It seemed as there hockey ball was stuck in a hockey stick, that had been our hockey hero dhyan chand. Many players played hockey but they was something unique from others players.
‣ 1.Dhyan Chand was born in Allahabad on 29 August 1905 in a Rajput family.
‣ 2. The name "Chand " because they practise hockey game a lot after night hours duty. They wait for moon light on the ground field for ckear visibility . He was hence called "Chand", by his fellow players, as his practice sessions at night invariably coincided with the coming out of the moon.
‣ 3. Dhyan chand was multi-talented person. At the age of 16 he joined British army asseopy. They retired as lieutenat in 1956
‣ 4. In the first match Dhyanchand 3 goals, 35 goals in Olympics and 400 goals international levels. Around overall 1000 + goal had done by Dhyan. Therefore, on the basis of these records they calles "Wizard of hockeys ". That name is respect of dhyan chand.
‣ 5. In 4 august 1936, Olympic hockey game Dhyanchand proved himself as great player of hockey. Due to performance gernan Adolf hitler had offered to Dhayanchand played into the side of Germany side

‣ 9.In 2002, Indian government initiated Dhyan chand Awards by ministry of youth & sport as lifetime achievement in sports
‣ 10. Dhyan chand won the three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the year 1928, 1932 and 1936.

‣ 14.Dhyan Chand spent the last days of his life in his hometown Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. They face problems of shortage of money. There was tough time for dhyan of last days. No one remember there magican man of hockeys.
‣ 15.Chand was diagnosed with liver cancer and was admitted to a general ward at the AIIMS in New Delhi. The legendary forward died on December 3, 1979
